TOUR POLICY

  1. Cycling tours will follow the structure as outlined in the tour descriptions. Detours or amendments are sometimes necessary, at the discretion of the tour guide, in accordance with company policy.
  2. The company will provide the equipment, consisting of Electric Bicycle and Helmet. These will be provided in full working order and must be returned in the same condition at the end of the tour.
  3. Tour participants will be accompanied for the entire duration of the tour by the tour leader.
  4. A bike tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate. In line with this agreement, if the minimum amount is not met, the tour may not be provided, and a full refund will be made.
  5. In the case of adverse weather conditions or other significant unforeseen events, the tour may not take place. The company reserves the discretion to decide whether to conduct the tour in these situations, based on health and safety or other factors. In the case the tour is cancelled, you will be offered an alternative tour date/time or provided a full refund.
  6. In the case of the company cancelling the tour for any other reason, the customer will be provided a full refund, or offered the chance to join a subsequent seven days after the cancellation, to an equivalent value or duration.
  7. Tour participants affirm they are responsible for their own actions and that they waive any right to claim damages from the company. Clients confirm that: participants must be present at the tour starting point, refunds will not be provided to individuals not present at the agreed starting point and a no-show will incur the full cost of the tour participation, forfeiting any pre-payment made for the tour.
  8. Clients confirm they are able to competently operate and ride a bike safely, abiding by the law and are without serious health condition that affects this ability.
  9. Tour participants must apply common sense, prudence and diligence and due care regarding the hired equipment provided to them for the tour, for which clients use at their own risk as laid out in these terms and conditions.
  10. The company accepts no liability for any damages that may occur to the tour participants, third parties and/or equipment that may occur during the tour.
  11. The company accepts no responsibility for the loss of personal items, baggage, valuables, money or other items that may occur during the trip. The participants accept responsibility for making sure their own belongings remain safe.
  12. Tour participants accept responsibility for any damage that may occur to the equipment provided to them by the company, excluding any general wear and tear or malfunctions, which are not the fault of the rider, such as flat tires. The company has full discretion in assessing the damages and determining the values attributed to repair the damages.
  13. Weather Conditions. 
    Our tour is selected to be safe and enjoyable even in the condition of rain, so tours will operate normally and be subject to the standard cancellation policy if you wish to withdraw from the tour. You may call to rearrange your booking, by notifying us a minimum of 1 hour before the tour begins. Requests to rearrange with less than an hour’s notice are subject to a €10 admin fee. In extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain fall, strong winds or a thunderstorm, then the tour will be cancelled by us and refunds made.
  14. Booking Cancellation. To completely cancel your booking in advance, we offer a tiered refund policy, determined by the notice provided to us before the tour booking:
  • Up to 48 hours – 0% refund
  • Up to 7 days – 50% refund
  • Up to 14 days – 75% refund
  • More than 14 days – 100% refund
